Gurtej is currently the Managing Principal at Witness Investment, and is responsible for overseeing the growth initiatives of the company, both from an asset standpoint and with its investor base. Gurtej oversees the financial due diligence for new developments, acquisitions, and divestitures, in addition to managing investor relations and supporting the investment team.

Gurtej started his career at Hilton Worldwide as an analyst in 2011, and progressed in roles and responsibilities until joining Witness in 2014.  

Gurtej holds a BA from the University of Michigan, and graduated with honors. He is an avid U of M football fan, supports the Detroit Lions passionately, and is a golf enthusiast, In his spare time, Gurtej likes to be outdoors and is always looking for his next adventure abroad.
